More About Me

I have been a practicing attorney in the oil and gas industry since 1981 and am a proud alumnus of the University of Oklahoma for both my undergraduate and Juris Doctorate degrees. I graduated from the University of Oklahoma Price College of Business in 1978 with a Bachelors in Business Administration in Petroleum Land Management. I went on to gain my Juris Doctorate degree from the University College of Law in 1981. Post graduation, I worked as an attorney, shareholder, and Of Counsel in several prominent Oklahoma City law firms. In 1999, I made the decision to establish my own practice focusing primarily on oil and gas title examinations based out of Oklahoma City.

My practice focuses on oil and gas, energy, and title examination in Oklahoma and Texas. I have 40 years working experience in the practice of law. I am licensed to practice in Oklahoma, Texas, and before the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma. Moreover, I have been called as an expert witness in title examination in litigation matters.

My clients have ranged from individuals to law firms and small & large corporations seeking oil and gas title opinions and other legal matters related to the oil and gas profession. I have also handled various acquisitions and divestitures for oil and gas clientele, and rendered numerous drilling, acquisition, mortgage, and division order title opinions in Texas and Oklahoma.
